One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism

Hear O Israel the Lord our God is one Lord. Deut. 6:04. As we read through the scriptures we certainly can find that there is only one God. From the first chapter of Genesis to the last Chapter of Revelations. God has always wanted to dwell with his people. From the creation of the first man Adam, to his church of today. God walked in the garden with Adam until Adam sinned and was cast for the Garden of Eden. God was seen in a pillar of fire as the children of Israel left Egypt. He dwelt with his children in the Ark of the Covenant. All the way down until the angel of the Lord came down to a virgin named Mary and told her she would conceive a child of the Holy Ghost. And they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted, God with us. So far we have God above us in the Father of creation, God the Son of redemption with us. And the after he died on the cross for our sins. He came back as the Holy Ghost to live in his church as we read in John 14:18. I will not leave you comfortless, I will come to you. We have God in us. God above us, God with us, God in us. Not 3 persons of God but 3 manifestations of one God named Jesus. The angel that told Mary that his name being interpreted God with us, told her to call his name JESUS. The name we have for everything we need. Isaiah 9:06 For unto a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. How great is that name JESUS. As in Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

  It is so hard for a lot of people to see this because they have been taught the Trinitarian doctrine for so long. Since 325 a.d. at the Nicene Council when the Catholic Church was formed. They say that they are 3 persons in the Godhead. But Colossians 2:08-09 tells us Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.(9) For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. This Nicene Counsel set up by so called Christians and the emperor Constantine form the Roman Empire. Formed a new church that comprised the Holy Scriptures of the Christians with the Pagan gods of the Romans. As you can see on down through history you can find this church became part of the Holy Roman Empire and martyred millions of Christians throughout history. This is the Mother of Harlots Church of Revelations chapter 17. I searched it and ancient Rome was founded on seven mountains. What other church in the world that has had the influence of the Catholic Church. And as a mother of harlots this means she had daughters (other churches that sprang of her) But I will go into that maybe in another sermon. My point that I want to make that there is only one God, and his name is Jesus. As in Revelations chapter 21 states I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. That new Jersalem is the church, and we are the bride of of the Lamb, Jesus Christ, therefore we have to take on his name. It is a mystery but the bible says in 1Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness, God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up onto glory. This God was Jesus!!
